A data warehouse model for success management (using the example of a retail sales company)
Growing complexity and dynamics generate increasing amounts of data and information about the business operations of firms and it is increasingly difficult to discern success factors. A data warehouse, as part of an information system, can make it possible to frame questions and through analytical processing to obtain information for the purpose of business decision-making. Multidimensional structures of data with the use of external sources of information make up a dimension structure of data about success, and through their unification a model of a data warehouse for success management in retail sales is created.
