An Application of the Blockchain Technology in the Internet of Things area

In this thesis, Blockchain technology is studied. Different block (blocks are data structures containing information) generation paradigms are discussed. Different existing implementations of the technology are compared. A solution that allows users to communicate with a network of sensors and actuators over Blockchain technology has been modeled using open source tools.
