Sažetak
This article is an attempt to present recent Croatian historiography writings and its methodological approaches toward the Balkans in the Early Modern Period and the nineteenth century on some examples from three main areas: the Ottoman legacy in Croatia, the Triplex Confinium International Research Project and the Croatian-Bulgarian relations through centuries with special attention to the nineteenth and the twentieth centuries.
