Quality of Life Determining Factors of Emigration of Croats towards Australia
The existing differences in the quality of life and conditions of living existing in different countries in the world, legitimately include masses of people into processes of circulation in which they are seeking to find better conditions of life for themselves. Croats were very early on integrated in such processes that were, in the beginning, directed towards the United States, and after the 2nd World War towards Australia. Considering that Croatia at that time was not an independent state they could not at that time achieve some subjective dimensions of quality of life. Ten years ago Croatia became an independent country and is expecting that at least part of her emigration will come back from Australia. The paper therefore analyses subjective and objective conditions of living of Croats in Croatia and Australia in order to find out the likelihood of realization of such expectations. In this work the answers were sought through comparison of available statistical data and results of partial primary researches. This has created a base for further future researches of the role of macromarketing in the possible redirection of the flows of future circulation of Croats.
