Utjecaj globalizacije na ponudu usluga prehrane u turističkom ugostiteljstvu
At begininning of the 21 st century changes are happening in all human activities in the world. They are especially evident in the activities which are more exposed to global processes. One of these is certainly tourism and the complementing hospitality and catering industry. Countries with renown cuisines: France, ltaly, Hungary, China, Mexico, Argentina, will certainly pose a greater resistence to standardization but will smaller tourist destinations such as Croatia, Malta, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Romania manage to defend themselves from these consequences of globalization? Therefore, it is the purpose of this paper to find whether in this game the small, original, warm, intimate catering places will be victorius, will they be loosing from the standardized, big, cold catering systems or will they both continue to tightly squeeze on these markets.
