As university city, Osijek has his foundation in francireans high scool, whitch made Osijek cultural and educatial center of that historial age. Francireans are the first croatian andragonists which teach people all skils of a good and succesful life. They are foudures of etnografy and etnology, and they built first syntheses od croatian literary language. They influence on this area is priceless. However, the press office is mostley created for needs of university, but whit his work and publishings of books whith variose themes, provides Osijek with cultural lift and progres. Only with establish of the press office, Francisean friars creates the library witch capts priceless treashers witch are, unfortunetly hidden and forgoten still in today. Inportant and influence of Franciscan heritage on Osijek is still strong, despite ages of difference. Education, culture, the way of life are permanently stamp of Franciscans in Osijek. Today, he is what it is becouse of Franciscans.
