Sažetak
This paper deals with the computational model and stress analysis of the airport bus structure. The analysed bus is not submitted to registration as is the case with ordinary motor vehicles, and consequently neither to the vehicle type approval. The analysis has been carried out by means of FEM. Regarding specific running conditions, the analysis has been carried out only for the case of static load, and for a special case of load when one of the wheels has no support. In the process of the computational (FE) model design, loads are divided into four sets: weight of the structure, weight of the engine and devices, weight of glasses, doors and sheet-metal skin, and weight of passengers. This enables the comparison with the results of experimental measurements of the bus structure stresses.
