Species Protection in Croatia

The paper deals with Croatian legislation relevant for species protection and the application of Habitats Directive in Croatia i.e. causes of the threat with percentage shares of the species they affect , principles of species protection, surveillance of conservation status, conservations of species, enforcement (legal consequences of infringement of Habitats Directive), SEA, EIA, Appropriate Impact Assessment and species protection and direct applicability of EU provisions on species protection in Croatian case law.
