Potentiometric monitoring of anionic surfactants degradation using photooxidative UV/H2O2 processes
In last few decades the importance of hydroxyl radical (HO·) reactions wastewaters treatment has been recognized and viewed as potentially convenient and economical way to generate oxidizing species for treating chemical wastesThis study reports about the decomposition of sodium dodecylbenezene sulfonate (NaDBS) and secondary alcane sulphonate using photooxidative UV/H2O2 process. The decomposition was monitored by potentiometric titration using PVC based self-made electrode for end-point detection.
