Team Teaching in Practice
The aim of the present study was to showcase an example of team teaching (TT) in an EFL classroom and its perception by pre-service teachers and pupils. One English lesson was prepared and taught in a primary school in Croatia to a class of 10-year-old pupils (N=18) by a team of two teachers. A group of pre- service teachers (N=15) were asked to provide their opinions on TT based on their observations of the class. Moreover, we investigated the pupils’ perspectives on TT by means of a questionnaire. The results show that TT is a welcome form of instruction ; thus, we provide some possibilities of its application in the EFL classroom and portray potential acceptance of TT by its prospective future teacher and pupil users.
