Development and psyhometric testing of the Croatian version of the job Satisfaction Scale in hospital nurses
Background and purpose: The aim of the study was to develop and psychometrically test a Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) that measuring attitudes toward job satisfaction among hospital nurses in Croatia. Methods: A cross-sectional design was applied from 584 nurses. Results: A seven-factors structure of the measure was confirmed relative Chi- square=2.8, Goodness of fit index=0.9, Comparative Fit index=0.83. The Cronbach's alpha was 083 for the total scale. Conclusion: The factor structure of the Croatia version was found to be similar to the original scale and it is valid and reliable for measuring attitudes toward job satisfaction among hospital nurses.
