Residents' Attitudes towards Tourism: A Case Study of the City of Zadar
The link between the involvement of the residents in the tourist offer and their attitudes towards tourists was demonstrated in the example of Zadar as a tourist destination in the growth phase. At the same time it is clear that at this stage there is a stronger perception of the positive impacts of tourism on the destination than the negative ones, whose existence is unquestionable, but the local population do not recognize them as a threat. Ultimately, we can conclude that the inclusion in the tourist offer as well as the employment status do not affect significantly the satisfaction elements of the destination offer. It therefore follows that the raising of the quality of certain elements of destination offer affects positively the entire population, and not just those involved in the tourism industry.
