Design of a Mechanical Assembly for the Dynamic Evaluation of Human Body Posture

This paper describes the design of a mechanical assembly for dynamic evaluation of human body posture. The 3D model of the mechanical assembly was made in the CAD software SolidWorks. By means of two 3-RPS parallel manipulators the mechanical assembly compensates for leg length discrepancy, overpronation and underpronation by changing the height and slope of the moving platform of the manipulator. The paper describes the inverse and forward kinematic problem of the 3- RPS manipulator for the purpose of determining the height and slope of the 3-RPS parallel manipulator.
