Problems regarding mutual welding and heat treatment of the austenitic and microalloyed steel
Austenitic and microalloyed steels have a wide application in the chemical and oil industry. The former one due to chemical existence and the latter due to higher strength. Because of this fact and for reason of lesser mas and lower price, the bearing part of the structure is constructed from microalloyed steels while the part of structure wich shall be resistant to aggresive media shall be constructed from austenitic steels. Their mutual jointing shall be preferably done by welding. During the work the research of Weldability of austenitic steel X10CrNi Ti 18 9 has been performed with quenched and tempered steel N-A-XTRA 70. Mutual welding of these dissimilar steels has been made by manual arc welding procedure with filler material, selected by applying Sshaefler diagram...
