Phonon poiseuille flow in quasi-one-dimensional single crystals
New thermal conductivity K(T) mesaurements of quasi-one-dimensional single crystals (Ta_1-xNb_xSe_4)_2I (x = 0, 0.008, 0.01) are reported in the range 60 mK-6 K. K(T) clearly shows exceptionally sharp peaks in the vicinity of 1 K. We argue that this behavior comes from the effect of phonon Poiseuille flow in these systems originating from their strong anharmonicity amplified by the lattice anisotropy.
