Where Literature Meets Science and Philosophy: Lessons from Stanislaw Lem and Peter Swirski

This paper seeks to establish the extent to which literature is capable of developing scientific and philosophical themes and problems. As a way of illustrations, works by Stanislaw Lem are discussed, together with a critical evaluation of Peter Swirski's interpretations of Lem's works.
