Compliance assessment of durability indicators on new Port of Gazenica
Performance based durability design is aimed at prolonging the durability of structures, avoiding early deterioration and enabling utilization of sustainable building materials, at the same time ensuring reasonable cost of construction. However, to be efficient, performance-based durability design approach needs compliance and quality control system to identify materials on site. In this paper, tests were made on the field and in the laboratory as part of the quality control of concrete during construction of new port of Gaženica in Zadar. The experimental part of the work included concrete cover measurements on the precast elements. The laboratory research included chloride migration coefficient and capillary absorption testing performed on samples taken from the site. Statistical analysis is presented, as a contribution to compliance assessment of durability indicators.
