We can only comment that the average optic nerve sheath diameter in our patients was 7.1 mm which clearly indicates intracranial hypertension. In the control group 40% of patients recieved dexamethasone treatment. All subject in the hypothermia group reached the target temperature of 32-34 oC, the control group was historical and there was no temperature data in that database.
