The influence of different content of CNT on the thermal properties of PCL

Polycaprolactone/CNT nanocomposites were prepared by laboratory Brabender mixer, with different content of CNT: 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.5 % mas. . Morphological structure of investigated samples was obtained by Field-Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM). Glass transition temperatures, melting and crystallization temperatures were followed by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). Viscoelastic properties were obtained by Dynamic–mechanical analysis (DMA), while tensile strength and Young modulus were determined by Zwick Universal mechanical testing machine. PCL/CNT nanocomposites showed better final properties in relation to neat PCL.
