Sažetak
The subject technical note (Devlin, 2015), proposes an Excel –based spreadsheet program - simple technique for estimating hydraulic conductivity from a mechanical grain size analysis of sample data. In some of the methods proposed, an iterative systematic error occurs. Namely, use of D10 grain size was used in equations (Slichter, Tezaghi, Sauberei, Kozeny, Barr) where the authors have originally used another effective grain size.
