Croatian 2008-2010 health insurance reform: hard choices toward financial sustainability and efficiency

While the previous reforms of the Croatian health care system paid little attention to root causes behind the system’s financial unsustainability issue, the 2008 reform tried to address these through a set of coordinated measures targeted at both the demand and supply side of the system.
