Transfer pricing legislation and policy in South-eastern Europe
This lecture gave an overview of the transfer pricing policies in South-East European countries. In 2013, Croatia became the 28th country to join. Other countires are „candidate countries” (Albania, Montenegro, Serbia and Macedonia) and some are „potential candidate countires” (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo) Geographic proximity of these countries to the EU and their EU membership aspirations make this region of growing importance for MNE. Transfer pricing has become a subject of increasing attention in several countries of the SEE region, due to international trends, budgetary pressures, continuing modernization of the tax systems. Result: surge of activity concerning TP, legislative development, heightened political and public awareness
