The development of Tourism policy in the European Union

All countries which intend to develop tourism in their area of mapping should lead a particular tourism policy for several reasons of which are most important economically. The purpose of keeping the tourism policy is effectively accomplishing the statutory objectives of tourism to the activation of certain economic or non-economic factors of tourism while using appropriate tourism organizations, tourism legislation and other measures or plans. Over time, the European Union has achieved a leading role of tourism regions of the world, and as the leading region of the world has built many factors of common tourism policy, through which uniform criteria of tourist business are developed, and general rules of business operations for all its members. The European Union is currently the most powerful economic integration in the world. It is a unique supranational integration, which consists of 27 member states, and the spaces on the geographical area of about 4, 325, 675 square kilometers. This conglomeration has around 496 million inhabitants, along with everything else ; it makes a big tourist market. In addition, tourism contributes greatly to the growth of gross domestic product, because its share is directly between four percent and about eleven percent indirectly, accounting for nearly one-third of all EU exports of services. espite the presented facts about the multiple importance of tourism in the EU, tourism was accepted relatively late as an important factor of development, and as such is included in EU legislation. The main reasons for such behavior are presented in constitutional barriers for transfer of national competencies to the appropriate authorities of the EU.
