Sažetak
The work presents the results of studies carried out during the years 2000 and 2001 at bus stations in Croatia with the aim of determining the capacity of parking spaces for passenger cars. Bus stations are complex systems of various functions with a number of already existing space restrictions as well as possibilities for successful harmonisation of facilities that would upgrade the level of the already standard services. In order to obtain maximally reliable data, all the recordings were performed at the bus station in Zagreb. The research results indicate the need to classify the passenger car parking lot users, wich would provide a model for determining the number of required parking lots.
