H-distributions, distributions of anisotropic order and Schwartz kernel theorem
H-distributions were introduced by Antonic and Mitrovi c as an extension of H-measures to the Lp−Lq setting. Their variants have been successfully applied to problems in velocity averaging (Lazar-Mitrovi c 2012) and compensated compactness with variable coefficients (Mišur-Mitrovi c 2015). They have also been extended to the Sobolev space setting (Aleksić-Pilipovic-Vojnovic 2016). This talk is about recent efforts to give a precise description of H-distributions. We introduce the notion of anisotropic distributions – distributions of different order with respect to different coordinate directions. In order to show that H-distributions are anisotropic distributions of finite order with respect to every coordinate direction, we prove a Schwartz kernel theorem for anisotropic distributions. The results that will be presented in this talk are a part of paper in progress.
