Colorimetric Analysis of Inkjet LED UV Curing Inks on Cotton and Silk Fabric
The connection between computer technology and modern digital printing techniques has enabled, among other things, the flourishing of textile pattern designs. Inspired users who want to personalize and materialize their creations are unleashed completely from the constraints and vast influences of the textile industry mass production, thus enabled to independently determine the type, size and color of their printed designs. With its continuous development, Inkjet printing technology has become widely available and has found various applications in different fields. This paper examines the impact of two common natural textile substrates on the final visual appeareance of Inkjet printed UV LED curing inks that are currently the fastest growing type of inks in the graphic industry.
