Market possibilities of selected wood product in the context of new product development
During this research a questionnaire was carried out about the acceptance of a new wood product on the test market (model of a wooden house with alarm clock). In this study potential customers were divided to particular groups (age, gender, interests, geographic area), and their impact on the prototype product was analyzed. The idea and the appearance of the product, the development of the prototype and the presentation of the concept are shown to market through a questionnaire. The collected data were processed by the primary analysis of descriptive statistics to obtain information about the viability of launching a specific product. Market research and analysis on the above criteria is the key to the success of the new product. New product development is a key driver of success and survival of any organization. Contact with potential customers on specific market and recognition of their wants and needs determines the success of the company
