Sažetak
Increased usage of ICT in higher education institutions leads to a greater need for protection against the risk of abuse that may be the result of accidental and/or malicious vandalism from inside or outside of the institution. In this paper, an analytical approach was used to elaborate on the potential use of the OCTAVE Allegro method in higher education institutions. Most previous research indicates the possibility and benefits of using this method when assessing risk in the operation of business organizations. Considering the specific activities of higher education institutions and their organization, research has shown the adequacy of implementing this method which has evolved over more than fifteen years of being present and used in practice.
