Modeling Axis by Rotation

In this paper, authors discuss OC 152 as an example of the idea of modeling as it is used in the contemporary philosophy of science. In the first part, an analysis of OC 152 is supplied and three possible interpretations of the section. In the second part, Schulte’s analysis of OC 152 is presented. In the third part, the “axis remarks” are interpreted in terms of blurring the distinction between grammatical and experiential remarks in terms of their dynamism and connectedness to practice and activity. In the fourth part, the “axis remarks” are interpreted in terms of “modeling” in contemporary philosophy of science.
