Sažetak
Authenticity of high value extra virgin olive oils is an emerging issue in European countries, including Croatia. Standard analytical methods in routine olive oil geographical characterization are still laborious and time- consuming. Therefore, efforts have been put in development of fast and reliable analytical methods that might precisely determine the geographical origin of this valuable food product. In the presented study, combined chromatography, mass spectrometry and spectroscopy approach coupled to chemometrics has been tested for authentication of Croatian extra virgin olive oil.
