Picturebooks in FL teacher education
Picturebooks belong among the most valuable resources in teaching a foreign language to young learners. Hence, they are an important issue in educating teachers. Three aspects come to the foreground: theoretical considerations, familiarity with published picturebooks, and practical issues. Principles adopted in an EFL teaching study programme are discussed and teacher-educators’ experiences shared.
