Proceedings of the 2nd Special Session on Smart Environment Technologies

Special session on Smart Environment Technologies was held in the frame of the 23rd International Conference on Software, Telecommunications and Computer Networks (SoftCOM 2015) in attractive ambience of Split and Bol on September 16-18, 2015. The Conference was organized by the University of Split, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture under the auspices of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports. The Conference has been technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc). The technical conference program featured eight general conference sessions, two symposia, and three special sessions. Special session on Smart Environment Technologies was organized by the University of Split, FESB. In total, five papers were accepted for publication and presented at the Conference. The main goal of this Special session was to present and discuss recent advances in technologies, architectures, algorithms and protocols for smart environments with emphasis on real smart environment applications.
