Nowadays, the environmental protection requirements demand the use of alloys, which should be characterized as non-toxic materials. That is in accordance with the legislation of the EU on the removal of toxic metals, so appropriate choice of adequate ecological alloys is important for their wider application in industry and technology. The Cu-Al-Au system belongs to the group of non-toxic materials and also to the group of cooper-based alloys characterized by shape memory effect.
