In paper proposed a physical model of the process of straightening the ingot and executed calculations configuration channel continuous casting billets machine. When performing calculations proceeded from the fact, that the deformation of straightening continuous casting ingot in the secondary cooling zone is limited by the temperature range of brittleness. The calculations make it possible to form a curve straightening ingot of a meniscus of the liquid metal before entering the horizontal section with a decrease in the overall height of caster and increase the heat content of the ingot before cutting.
