Determination Of Nanosized Particle Distribition By Means Of Low Frequency Raman Scattering
Nanocrystaline particles have attracted a great attention in the last years because of their promising properties for application in optical devices. Here, commercial available CdSxSe1-x Schott filter glasses with different concentrations and quantum dots sizes were investigated by means of low frequency Raman scattering (LFRS). On the basis of method described by Ivanda et al. [1], here we present the procedure for determination of the particle size distributions for different Schott glasses. The results were compared with the size distributions obtained by high resolution TEM.
