Sažetak
Mn12-acetate is single molecule magnet, which exhibits some very interesting phenomena: spin blocking, slow relaxation of magnetic moment, quantum magnetic hysteresis, macroscopic quantum tunneling of the spin of the molecule. These phenomena together with some theorethical models are reviewed in this talk, including up to date results from physics. Also, possible application and further investigations are given.
