FE Modell for Critical Load according the Second Order Theory of Elasticity
One of the most difficult challenges in structural stability is determining the critical load under which a structure collapses due to the loss of stability. The complexity of this phenomen depends on material properties that are influenced by geometric and material imperfections and material nonlinearity. The idea is to propose a practical method for stability evaluation and critical load determination of structural elements. The stiffnes matrix calculated according second order theory of elasticity is used to show finite element modell for critical load determination.
critical load; nonlinear finite element
