Analysis of Course Selection using AHP and Discrete Choice Analysis
The main objective of this paper is to determine the importance of the criteria in the selection of courses at the graduate level at Faculty using the AHP method and discrete choice analysis and compare the obtained results. Students (n = 22) were asked about the criteria by which courses were chosen: the 1) usefulness, 2) interesting program and 3) easiness of courses and 4) recommendation of senior colleagues. The results were very similar using AHP and discrete choice analysis: usefulness of knowledge looking for job and recommendations of senior colleagues has proved to be equally important criteria for selection of courses.
