River regime changes in the Ilova River catchment area
This work describes hydrological characteristics of the Ilova river basin that are necessary for understanding of hydrological processes. The analytical part of the work presents the basic physicalgeographic and sociogeographic runoff conditions as well as the impact of regulations and hydrotehnical works in river channel in order to establish a connection between these and runoff regimes. The stream flow regime includes the way of supply and distribution of characteristic river discharge in the river during the hydrological or calendar year. For stream flow regime analysis module coefficients (Pardé) where used. They where obtained on the basis of average annual or monthly flow values for four hydrological stations on the river Ilova for period of 1958 – 2011 and one hydrological station on the river Toplica for period of 1984 - 2011. Finally, recent changes in Ilova river basin flow regime are analysed and a connection between the changes in runoff regime and hydrotehnical works in river channel is established.
