SOCIAL NETWORKS IN THE CASE OF TOURISM IN CROATIA

- Social networks in terms of communication are bidirectional and provide the opportunity to participate in shaping the product. In e- business social networks have made progress that will forever change the way the companies (large and small) create their image and overall performance. Social networks is a rather broad term, but what defines it in the context of e- business is the ability to communicate within the company itself and with other users. A carefully planned campaign, adjusted to social networks, can bring manifold benefits to the company business. Social networks should be mastered as they will become the primary basis for creating (and closing) future gigantic corporations and smaller companies. This paper analyzes viral marketing and the marketing of social and mobile networks through a series of examples. The development of social and mobile networks is influenced by advanced information technologies. The analysis of the results is based on the online research of social networks, where the TRI index of their users was tested together with the extent of their usage in tourism business. Further data analysis included a variety of statistical methods aimed at analyzing time and manner of using social networks in e-business.
