Civil Society and Social Capital in Croatia: A Conceptual Analysis
This paper considers how social capital is distinguished between two aspects: sociocultural milieu and institutional infrastructure.social capital – general trust, institutional trust, social norms and formal networks. Along the lines of Putnam's (2008) findings of positive correlation between social capital and tolerance, this article is aimed at examining the relationship between the social involvement of civil society in Croatia and social capital.
