TiO2 nanotube arrays for photovoltaic application
Conversion efficiency of solar cells can be significantly improved by using oriented nanorod- like materials on top of transparent conductive oxide. For this purpose we prepared TiO2 nanotube arrays by anodizing titanium thin film deposited on ZnO covered glass substrate. In this work we will present results of structural analysis of TiO2 nanotube arrays obtained by Raman spectroscopy, Scanning electron microscopy and Grazing Incidence Small Angle X-ray Scattering and Wide Angle Scattering. It will be also discussed possible application in dye sensitized and perovskite solar cells.
