Problems of Basic Croatian Music Theory Terminology with Special Emphasis on Literature Intended for Teaching Music Theory

The author presented an abstract of a doctoral thesis she is currently writing as a part of her postgraduate programme of interdisciplinary humanities at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split (thesis supervisors: Nikša Gligo, musicologist, Academy of Music, University of Zagreb and Maslina Ljubičić, linguist, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb). The dissertation will deal with the special field terminology used in teaching Music Theory at all formal stages of parallel music education in the Republic of Croatia.
