The Analysis of UGTD Simulation for 900MHz Single-Floor Propagation

Application of the Uniform Geometrical Theory of Diffraction UGTD gives the best results in prediction of indoor radio propagation. Applying this method, it is possible to determine narrow band, as well as wide band propagation parameters. The complexity and accuracy of simulation depends on total number of rays traced between the transmitter and receiver. This paper deals with problems connected with this issue, as well as with impact of input geometrical and physical data on method accuracy. It is shown that determination of physical parameters of the building, like complex permitivity, conductivity etc., has the crucial role for exact prediction.
