Simulation Model of the Main Electrical Drive of the Thyristorized Locomotive

In this paper a simulation model of the locomotive's main electrical drive and its corresponding control structure is resented. Software package for implementation of the simulation model and its concept, are briefly discussed.Furthermore, some additional outcomes gained by the usage of the simulation model are included (e.g.estimation of the drive's traction/braking force). Additionally, of the simulation model is described, illustrated with few diagrams.
