Beyond fortification: Interactions between settlement and cemetery in Late Bronze Age of Southern Carpathian Basin

In past decade extensive archaeological excavations were conducted on several Late Bronze age sites in the eastern part of Croatia. On basis of results of these excavations it is possible to speculate on settlement patterns, customs and rites characteristic for Late Bronze age populations of that region. This paper will be focused on the archaeological sites situated in lower River Drava Basin and River Sava Basin.
