The Impact of Dynamic Anthropometry on the Pattern Construction of One-piece Suit
Humans are in constant motion where the human body form a specific geometry. Linear measurements taken from the human body in a standard posture are undergoing a change during the movements of the body. The relationship between body movements and basic block pattern construction of an overall will be analysed with the aim to develop a methodology for block pattern adaptations based on the new findings. We also demonstrate how the 3D body scanner can be used to assess numerical information regarding extreme movements of the body in order to design comfort clothing that allows unrestricted human performance when wearing clothes made from woven fabrics.
