Impact Assessment of the Application of ISO 9001:2015 on the Management of Clusters and Regional Development

Fast and constant changes in management of Business Enterprises, global crisis and the appearance of new communication and other Technology demand a new direction in the area of quality management. International organization for standardization, in the line with global trends, has published a working version proposal of the most Popular ISO standard in the world, standard ISO 9001, during 2014. The new version of the standard will be officially in use by the end of 2015 and includes significant changes. the changes relate, inter alia, on the obligation of organizations to recognize their own context and the influence of environment on the organization and vice versa, and to a detailed risk analysis. The standard Iso 9001 is also Applied in the management of clusters and is the focus of this work on analysis how does the application of quality management system according to the new standard ISO 9001:2015affects on the management of clusters. As the standard ISO 9001 has been implemented by more than 3.500 organizations in the Republic of Croatia a new goal of this work has been defined and is to show potential influences of the standard on a regional level.
