Lepton-flavour violation in two extensions of the Standard Model
Neutrinoless lepton-flavour-violating (LFV) processes are studied in the standard model extended by heavy Dirac neutrinos and in the minimal manifestly left-right symmetric model. Careful analysis of the structure of the LFV amplitudes and corresponding branching ratios is done. Theoretically the most favourable decays for finding LFV are found. The amplitudes and numerical results for the LFV branching ratios obtained in the two models are compared.
