Optimization of low budget 3D printing parameters

Low budget 3D printers are becoming more affordable to almost everyone who wants to print their ideas. On the market of the low budget 3D printers, there are many devices with different possibilities of adjusting printing parameters. One of the most important parameter for evaluation of the printing part quality is dimensional stability after printing (shrinkage value) and dimensional accuracy of the part. In order to prepare computer models which will result with printed parts with accurate dimensions, it is necessary to analyse influence of the adjustable parameters of the 3D printer on printed part dimensions. In the paper, the mentioned analysis was performed on the part with referent geometry. Analysis encompasses influence of the temperature and speed of the low budget 3D printer printing head on the dimensional accuracy of the printed part.
